As there are a lot of Game Boy musicians out there, there are not a lot of ROM / cart releases done.
I might miss a few releases from the demoscene, but here is what I got so far!
*A few additional words:
Paragon 5 – Music-Disk No.1 (1999) is the first music ROM that I know of, and nitro2k01 – Handheld Heroes (2012) is the first cartridge release I’ve ever notived. irrlicht project – DMG 5th sound channel is the only project that didn’t use any existing music tools, everything was written directly in assembler – using tricks from the 1-bit music scene to „fake“ a 5th channel. Everything listed here is awesome on its own – for many different reasons!
